Under Eye Fillers
When receiving Under Eye Fillers, you may be asked if you would like numbing cream applied. If the answer is yes, we will apply the cream and give the cream time to work fully. We will then inject tiny amounts of hyaluronic acid filler into the depressed areas under each eye. Depending on how long it takes for the numbing cream to work, the actual injection process should only take a few minutes.
Lip Fillers
If you’re receiving Lip Fillers, the steps mentioned above are pretty much the same. You will typically be administered a topical anesthetic to numb any potential pain or discomfort, which should take effect between 15 and 30 minutes. A thin needle will then be used to inject the lip filler into the parts of your lips as discussed during your consultation. You shouldn’t feel any pain during this injection, but you may notice a slight pinching sensation. Afterward, you will be provided an ice pack for your lips to minimize swelling and/or bruising.
